The Voice-Ear-Brain Connection--a New Subtle Energy System
From the book The Cycle of Sound: A Missing Energetic Link, page 141
The Voice-Ear-Brain Connection is the subtle biological, biochemical, whole body inter-relationship of how the voice reflects and impacts what the ear hears, emits and processes, and what the brain perceives, interprets, and relays to the body. The entire process is based upon the body’s response to sound vibration and is founded in the sciences of physics, biology, and chemistry and the world of metaphysics. This system provides a checks and balance system for the body. We know if the energy flowing out and coming in is balanced within the system, then the voice, the ear and the brain demonstrate that balance.
Vibrational medicine attempts to connect the subtle energy fields contributing to the functioning of the physical body. The Voice-Ear-Brain Connection fits into that category. A cycle of energy exists between our subtle energy level and our physical body--a cycle of sound. This cycle supports the reception and expression of sound for meaning between the voice, the ear, and the brain. To maintain this cycle of sound energy, the Davis Model of Sound Intervention was created. This model supports repatterning the energy between the voice, the ear and the brain so that the physical body can be brought to a better natural starting place to learn and develop, and eventually maintain wellness.

The Voice-Ear-Brain Connection is a previously unrecognized system of the body. Its importance is major to each one of us. Understood with the 5 laws of The Tomatis Effect and The Davis Addendum to the Tomatis Effect and demonstrated with the study of quantum physics, the subtleties of this unrecognized system can be brought into our consciousness and will allow our bodies to evolve to a place of equilibrium. Perhaps the internal body disruptions and external influences can be minimized when this Voice-Ear-Brain Connection system is understood better. The body will work to adjust the energies so that the system works harmoniously with the body and its other systems. This cyclical connection is major to the development of ‘self’. The process supports our understanding of our personal identity and our connection to those around us.
This newly discovered and important system within each one of us begins in utero. Those connections initially started in utero need time to integrate themselves into the person’s body functioning. Any daily impact, whether it is physical, emotional, or environmental, can directly challenge the stability of this connection. There is a mutual dependency between its parts—the voice, the ear, and the brain. Without the parts, the whole will not function as a balanced system. The dependency is based upon the cyclical relationship of the expression and reception of cellular signals as sound within and without each one of us. When in balance, the parts work powerfully together. When not in balance, many opportunities for dis-ease, disorders, or discordancy exist. The cycle reflects a system of responsiveness between the energy levels within and without of the body.
